Pick the egg before the gear
First identify the rarity of the egg you want, then look at the matching radar. Published guides discuss tiers from Rare to Ethereal, but tier names, costs and stock can change. If you do not have a target, one familiar practice loop may be more valuable than an impulse purchase.
- Confirm your target egg and its current rarity.
- Check the relevant radar, stock and cost in the live game.
- Leave a hatch slot open and choose a mount you know how to handle.
- Follow the current direction and distance indicators; return immediately after pickup.
Navigation has two legs
On the way out, use the live direction and distance cue instead of circling an old guide’s coordinates. On the way back, your plot becomes the target again. Third-party guides mention the risk of a pickup countdown, so plan return landmarks before activating a search.
Other players on a shared server may take the target first. Trust the state of your current server over an older screenshot.
Review one failed radar run
If you found the egg but could not bring it home, identify the limiting factor: reading the direction, mount speed or route length. Change only one thing next time—shorten the route, switch rides or practice landmarks.
